MAASAI HONEY

Maasai Honey is a non-profit dedicated to creating a sustainable business for Maasai women. Honey is indigenous to Tanzania, but is traditionally a male oriented endeavor. Working under the approval of the elders
of the village of  Ololoskwan, Maasai Honey is also using profits to help girls achieve a secondary school education. Wax helped Maasai Honey develop its messaging and donor strategy and then went to Tanzania
to develop a content library. Upon return we designed the website and continued to help the
organization communicate its message to a variety of audiences.

THE WEBSITE AND THE BRAND

With Tanzania, and even more so the village of Ololosokwan, being so far away, the website

is the most tangible manifestation of the organization. It is paramount that potential donors and other

interested parties get a true feel for Maasai Honey, it's objectives, the culture of the Maasai
and the challenges they face. The site relies heavily on original content.

RETAIL

Honey is sold to Safari Lodges in Tanzania and hand-dipped candles around the world.

SOCIAL MEDIA

The content for the website is leveraged throughout all other communication and and social media platforms.

ART PRODUCTS TO DRIVE REVENUE

Maasai Honey is able to engage with its audiences through their love of Africa, even though most have

never been there. Utilizing the image library that WAX photographed, art cards and prints can be purchased. These items are also used as premiums for various levels of donors.

MAASAI HONEY BRANDED CONTENT

Wax meets the ever increasing need for fresh content as our clients look to present their brand message.

An authentic brand voice is a difficult proposition to achieve through stock, so our model allows clients to maintain

consistent voice across all communication and social media platforms.
